Humanitarian Aid Update: Gaza Strip

On January 21, 260 trucks carrying humanitarian aid were transferred to the Gaza Strip. This marks the highest number of trucks since the start of the war.

Details of the Aid Transfer

Out of the total, 121 trucks were inspected at Nitzana and transferred to Gaza via the Rafah Crossing, while 139 trucks were inspected and transferred via Kerem Shalom. In addition, 4 tankers of cooking gas and 2 tankers of fuel, designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza, have entered the Gaza Strip.

Medical Assistance and Support

A delegation of over 20 doctors and medical personnel is expected to enter the Gaza Strip to bolster the medical response in hospitals in central Gaza.

Logistical Enhancements

Four warehouses, designated to enhance the logistic capacity of the international organizations receiving the humanitarian aid within the Gaza Strip, were established.

Coordination for Foreign Nationals

Thirty-one foreign nationals are coordinated for exit today.

Repairing Vital Infrastructure

The coordination for the repair of vital infrastructure was successfully completed. Today, January 22, between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Al-Jneina neighborhood in Rafah, southern Gaza, to enable the movement of humanitarian aid.
