Humanitarian Aid Update for Gaza (June 23-24)

Aid Trucks Entry

275 humanitarian aid trucks were transferred to Gaza yesterday (June 23). The breakdown is as follows:

  • 229 trucks via the Kerem Shalom crossings
  • 40 trucks via the maritime route (JLOTS)
  • 6 trucks via the Erez Crossing

Aid Collection Status

Only 159 aid trucks were collected. The collection details are:

  • 47 trucks from the Erez crossing
  • 112 trucks from Kerem Shalom
  • 106 from the private sector
  • 6 by non-UN organizations

Additionally, the content of 1,100 aid trucks is waiting to be collected from the Gazan side of Kerem Shalom (June 23). Furthermore, there are 6,376 pallets of aid that are waiting to be collected from the JLOTS offloading area (June 23).

Gate 96 Updates

A convoy of aid trucks entered Gaza via Gate 96 on June 23.

Fuel Supply

On June 23, 4 tankers of fuel and 3 tankers of gas designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza entered the region.

Aid to Northern Gaza

Coordination efforts led to the delivery of 2 aid trucks containing medical equipment and 1 truck containing fuel to hospitals in the north of Gaza (June 23).

Airdrop Operations

On June 23, 27 pallets containing aid were airdropped into Gaza.

Maritime Route (JLOTS) Operations

40 aid trucks were offloaded from the JLOTS on June 23.

Coordination Requests Status

Out of a total of 40 general coordination requests, 36 (90%) were approved. The breakdown is as follows:

  • Out of 12 UN requests, 11 (92%) were approved
  • Out of 12 coordination requests for northern Gaza, 11 (92%) were approved

Local Tactical Pause

On June 24, between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Al-Ktiba neighborhood in Khan Younis to enable the movement of humanitarian aid.
