Humanitarian Aid Efforts in Gaza – January 24

On January 24, a total of 115 trucks carrying humanitarian aid were successfully transferred to the Gaza Strip. The operations included:

Inspection and Transfer of Trucks

  • 106 trucks inspected at Nitzana and transferred via the Rafah Crossing.
  • 9 trucks inspected and transferred via Kerem Shalom.
  • 22 trucks specifically carried food supplies.

Fuel and Gas Deliveries

Additionally, 4 tankers of cooking gas and 4 tankers of fuel were delivered to support the operation of essential infrastructure within the Gaza Strip.

Warehouse Establishment for Humanitarian Aid

Four warehouses were established to enhance the logistic capacity of international organizations receiving humanitarian aid in the region.

Infrastructure Repair Coordination

The coordination for the repair of vital infrastructure was successfully completed, allowing for better living conditions for the residents.

Bakery Operations

Currently, 12 bakeries are operational, providing approximately 2 million pita breads a day to the community.

IDF Operations Pause

Today, between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Yafa and Al-Baruk neighborhoods in Dier al Balach, central Gaza. This pause is intended to enable the movement of humanitarian aid more smoothly.
