Recent Humanitarian Efforts in Gaza

Overnight, on February 28, a convoy of 31 trucks carrying food made its way to the northern Gaza Strip. Over the last 3 days, close to 50 trucks were transferred to the northern Gaza Strip.

Fuel and Gas Supplies

Yesterday, on February 27, 4 tankers of cooking gas and 3 tankers of fuel designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza entered the Gaza Strip. Additionally, 74 packages of food containing dozens of tons of food were airdropped over Gaza. This effort was made possible through a coordinated operation by Jordan, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and France. Notably, 4 packages were designated for the Jordanian field hospital.

Future Aid Arrivals

Further assistance is on the way, with 24 WFP food trucks expected to enter the Gaza Strip via the Jordanian Channel.

Evacuation of Foreign Nationals

On February 27, 15 foreign nationals exited the Gaza Strip, while 2 foreign nationals are expected to exit today, February 26.

Healthcare Initiatives

A United Arab Emirates floating hospital docked at the El-Arish port on February 22 and began receiving Gazan patients for treatment.

Bakery Operations in Gaza

Currently, 20 bakeries are operational in Gaza, providing over 2.5 million breads, rolls, and pita breads each day for the local population. Over the last 2 weeks, the number of operational bakeries increased from 10 to 12, then to 15, and now to 20, thanks to the facilitation by COGAT.

Coordinated Repair of Vital Infrastructure

The coordination for the repair of vital infrastructure in the area has been successfully completed.

Humanitarian Aid Movement

Today, on February 28, between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Al-Shaboura neighborhood in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, to enable the movement of humanitarian aid.
