Overview of Aid Distribution in Gaza

On April 29, 273 trucks were distributed within Gaza, with 160 of these containing food supplies. Additionally, air support was provided with 94 pallets containing tens of thousands of food aid packages airdropped over northern Gaza.

Delivery of Essential Resources

Four tankers of cooking gas and another four tankers of fuel designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza also entered the region on the same day, April 29.

Coordination Efforts

Regarding coordination requests for aid, out of 33 general coordination requests submitted on April 29, 25 (76%) were approved. Specifically, 8 UN requests for coordination were submitted, with 5 being approved. In addition, 15 coordination requests to northern Gaza were made, resulting in 12 (80%) approvals. It is worth noting that since January 1, 2024, a remarkable 87% of all coordination requests have been approved.

Operational Bakeries in Gaza

Currently, 26 bakeries are operational in Gaza, collectively providing close to 5 million breads, rolls, and pita breads each day.

Evacuations and Infrastructure Repair

To date, 3,204 injured and sick individuals, along with 725 escorts, have been evacuated from the strip. Additionally, 14 foreign nationals were scheduled to leave Gaza yesterday, April 29. The repair of vital infrastructure is also underway.

Humanitarian Aid Movement

Finally, on April 30, between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Al-Salaam neighborhood in Rafah to facilitate the movement of humanitarian aid.
