Alkadi was found in a tunnel deep in the Rafah area and was rescued without resistance, safely returning to Israeli hands.

The Rescue Operation

Alkadi, who was kidnapped while working at a packing house in Kibbutz Magen, was discovered in a 27-meter-deep tunnel by a joint team of elite IDF units, including Shayetet 13, Brigade 401, Yahalom, and Shin Bet operatives. The rescue mission, under the command of Division 162, was executed with precision, ensuring Alkadi’s safe extraction. Following the rescue, he was airlifted by a military helicopter to a hospital for medical evaluations. His condition is stable, and he is now under medical care.

A Community’s Relief

Alkadi’s abduction was part of a series of kidnappings carried out by Palestinian Hamas during the October 7th massacre , which has left the Bedouin community in Israel deeply shaken. His safe return provides a moment of relief, though the community continues to hope for the release of other captives, including two members of the Al-Zayadna family, who remain in Hamas captivity.
