HomeFactsThe Houthis Bombed Tel Aviv

The Houthis, a terrorist organization from Yemen, have targeted Tel Aviv with a suicide drone, resulting in the death of one man and injuries to ten others. The drone struck an apartment in Tel Aviv at 3:12 AM, with the explosion being audible as far away as Rishon Lezion. The Houthis have claimed responsibility, describing the attack as a “high-quality operation” aimed at Tel Aviv.

The Saudi news network Al Arabiya reported that the Houthis launched a ballistic missile along with four unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). According to their report, the United States intercepted the missile and three of the UAVs, but the fourth UAV successfully hit Tel Aviv. However, the IDF has noted that while American intercepts occurred the previous morning, IDF fighter jets were in the air at the time, suggesting that the UAV that struck Tel Aviv might have been a separate one.

Pro-Palestinian accounts on social media are celebrating the attack, with figures such as Jackson Hinkle, Nadira Ali, Seyed Mohammad Marandi, Syrian Girl, and mxyaslytherin expressing support.
