Gali Roy Shakotai

Sergeant Gali (Roy) Shakotai, 21 years old from Moshav Tzofar, was a fighter in the Nahal patrol and fell in battle at the Sofa outpost on October 7. His uncle Muti said: “The terrorists started to open fire on them, he barely managed to put on a uniform, he just put on a helmet, vest and shoes and went into battle, he managed to rescue several wounded soldiers to the warehouse near the kitchen”

Orna Tal, a resident of Tzofar, told about Gali: “He left behind him the pure will of life – to give to others, to maintain optimism and laughter and to live. To live as he wanted to live.”
