KiriL Brodski was a brave 19-year-old from Ramat Gan, Israel, serving as a battalion command post sergeant in the Southern Brigade of the Israel Defense Forces. A dedicated student at Shimon Ben-Zvi High School in Givatayim, KiriL was loved for his friendly nature and passion for life.
On October 7, during a surprise attack by Hamas, KiriL was killed in action, and his body was taken by the enemy. For 53 days, his family—parents Victor and Lena and sister Alina—held onto hope that he was alive, but the heartbreaking news of his death shattered their dreams.
KiriL was remembered for his vibrant spirit and love for motorcycles; his girlfriend had even started taking riding lessons to surprise him. The Ramat Gan community rallied around the Brodski family, with Mayor Karmel Shama-Hacohen expressing deep condolences.
KiriL’s funeral was held at Kiryat Shaul military cemetery, where friends and family gathered to honor his memory. Though taken too soon, KiriL’s legacy as a soldier, son, and hero would continue to inspire others in their fight for peace and freedom.
