Shalo Zion Sharabi was killed by an IED hit in Be’eri. Sharabi, 22, a resident of Teneh Omarim, was a combat medic in Battalion 749 in the Bislah Brigade.
A good man, a great and patient ski instructor, did his job professionally and faithfully, always with a shy and charming smile. Grew up in a religious and Zionist home, son of parents who are busy giving and volunteering out of modesty for the community.
His partner, Shira, paid tribute to him with these words:
“Shalevi,
What about you? Does eternal rest really exist? Or are you busy maintaining the vast amount of people you’ve influenced?
I want to shout to the whole world about you and who you were, I hope it will pass.
Salt of the earth, but one of the best that Israel has seen here, he loves nature, he is thrilled by every small miracle, up to the big bear he caught with his lens in Canada. He traveled abroad but loves our special country so much that he did not give up on the path of Israel which in the end the war cut him off in the middle. “Deep to observe nature and you will understand everything better” is how he quoted Albert Einstein.
He is a people person, always looking to make new friends, and to be around good people who make him feel good. At the end of the Sabbath, after we heard from each one what he took from him, his mother came to the important conclusion: he didn’t need people to fill himself, he had everything, he had to give the people around him, each a small gift, distributed to everyone from his big bag of values.
His is always looking for the humor in every situation, a mesmerizing smile and contagious laugh, no matter what mood you’re in. He appreciates and gives thanks every time he feels the need, doesn’t think twice, doesn’t regret it in retrospect, but says and does everything he wants now because he lives life exactly the way he wants without the feeling of missing out or missing out.
His loves life, loves in the present tense, because he still gives us all the strength and the reason to love and appreciate, to always say thanks for what we have and not wait to regret that we didn’t appreciate enough. He left us his smiling energies, his optimism and the sanctification of life,
just like him
Enjoy life in every moment and don’t stop smiling for him, and every time you smile, don’t forget to say to the upliftment of his soul Zion Sharabi, the late fallen hero of Israel 🌷❤️”
