IDF forces continue combat operations throughout the Gaza Strip; forces from Brigade 98 have neutralized dozens of terrorists so far during operations in East Al-Bureij and East Deir al-Balah, while simultaneously locating tunnels and many weapons in the Rafah area.
Brigade 98 forces continue fighting in East Al-Bureij and East Deir al-Balah. The fighters have neutralized dozens of terrorists so far, located tunnels, and destroyed terror infrastructure in the area. The Air Force, in cooperation with Brigade 98 forces, attacked and eliminated the head of a rocket-launching cell and another terrorist who fired at the forces.
Brigade 99 forces continue to operate in the central Gaza Strip, destroying terror infrastructure and neutralizing terrorists. Combat team fighters from the Paratroopers Brigade have joined the fighting in the area over the past day.
Fighters from Brigade 162 continue combat in the Rafah area. During raids over the past day, the fighters located tunnels and numerous weapons, including firearms, grenades, vests, magazines, and more. In one of the attacks in the area, an Air Force fighter jet struck and eliminated an armed terrorist who was in a booby-trapped building.
