IDF forces eliminated the Deputy Head of Weapons Manufacturing Infrastructure in the terrorist organization PIJ; Division 162 forces eliminated about 30 terrorists in the Rafah area.
IDF forces, guided by the Intelligence Directorate, specifically targeted and eliminated the terrorist Mohammed Al-Ja’bari, the Deputy Head of Weapons Manufacturing Infrastructure and the financial officer of the manufacturing infrastructure within the terrorist organization PIJ.
Mohammed was responsible for weapon production for the organization in the northern Gaza Strip, distributing salaries and funds to the organization’s terrorists, and actively participated in attempts to rehabilitate rocket production capabilities and the organization’s infrastructure.
Prior to the attack, numerous measures were taken to minimize the likelihood of harming civilians, including the use of precision munitions and additional intelligence information.
Division 162 forces, including the combat teams of the Givati and Nahal brigades, continue to engage in combat in Rafah. Over the past day, the forces have eliminated approximately 30 terrorists in close-quarters combat and airstrikes.
The combat team of the Jerusalem Brigade (16) began engaging in the central Gaza Strip under the command of Division 252.
The brigade’s forces identified a group of terrorists exiting a terror tunnel with the intent to harm our troops. In a cycle of closure, an aircraft from the Air Force eliminated the terrorists.
During an operation by the combat team of the Harel Brigade (10), an attack helicopter from the Air Force destroyed a building that housed explosives and numerous weapons.
