Following the alerts in the Eilat area, a surface-to-surface missile was identified that was launched into the territory of Israel and successfully intercepted in the Red Sea area by the Air Defense fighters, using the long-range defense system, “Arrow”.
The target did not cross into Israeli territory, and did not constitute a threat to civilians; the alert was activated as per policy.
