The integrated operation in Zeitoun continues: soldiers from the combat team of the 401 Brigade have eliminated over 30 terrorists in the last day; at the same time, the activity of the 98 Brigade continues in the Khan Yunis area.
As part of the activity undertaken by the 162 Brigade in the Zeitoun neighborhood in the north of the Gaza Strip, soldiers from the combat team of the 401 Brigade continue to operate and fight in the area.
With the help of the Air Forces, about 30 terrorists who were operating near the troops in the area were eliminated in the last day.
In one of the activities, the brigade’s firing system directed a combat plane that attacked and eliminated a sniper in a building close to the soldiers.
In the center of the strip, the combat team of the Nachal Brigade eliminated more than ten terrorists in the last day.
In an activity carried out by the soldiers in the area, the forces identified an armed group of terrorists moving towards them and eliminated it.
In the Khan Yunis area, soldiers from Unit 414 identified a terrorist armed with an RPG launcher. Forces from the unit tracked the terrorist and directed a plane to the location that attacked and eliminated him.
In the west of Khan Yunis, soldiers from the combat team of the 7th Brigade eliminated several terrorists using tank fire and snipers. In addition, the brigade’s firing system directed a combat plane that attacked a building where two terrorists were staying, at the end of the attack secondary explosions were identified of the many weapons in the terrorists’ possession.
As part of the activities carried out by the paratroopers brigade combat team in the west of Khan Yunis, the soldiers eliminated several terrorists including two armed terrorists who were eliminated from close range.
In a raid on terrorist infrastructures in the area, the forces found weapon parts along with grenades, ammunition and military equipment.
In additional activities in the area, the combat team of the Givati Brigade identified two terrorists observing our forces during a raid on terrorist targets, and fired at them. In additional ambushes set up by the forces, more terrorists were eliminated.
The firing systems of the Givati and the Paratroopers Brigades eliminated, in the last day together with the Air Force forces, armed groups of terrorists who were moving and operating near our forces in the west of Khan Yunis.
