In the event where Sergeant Roi Beit Yaakov, Staff Sergeant Gilad Aryeh Boyim, Staff Sergeant Betsalel Shasha, Corporal Daniel Hamu and Corporal Ilan Cohen lost their lives, three soldiers from Battalion 202 of the Paratroopers Brigade were seriously injured. The soldiers were taken for medical treatment and their families were updated.
