Ireland’s €20 Million to UNRWA

Ireland’s latest €20 million donation to UNRWA is not humanitarian aid—it is funding terrorism. UNRWA has been exposed for its ties to Hamas, with its employees actively participating in the October 7th massacre

Ireland’s decision to allocate an additional €20 million to UNRWA, the United Nations agency supposedly tasked with aiding Palestinian refugees, is yet another example of Western nations blindly funding an organization that has repeatedly been exposed for its deep ties to terrorism. This move, under the guise of humanitarian aid, ultimately strengthens Hamas and its network, directly endangering Israeli civilians while doing little to actually help innocent Palestinians in need.

UNRWA’s Role in the October 7th Massacre

On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched the deadliest terrorist attack against Israel in history, murdering 1,163 Israelis, including women, children, and elderly civilians. It has since been proven beyond doubt that UNRWA employees actively participated in this attack. Some of its members not only facilitated the slaughter of Israelis but also took part in kidnappings, rapes, and executions.

Furthermore, UNRWA’s schools, facilities, and aid distribution networks have been repeatedly used by Hamas as weapons depots, terror tunnels, and launching pads for rocket attacks. The agency functions as Hamas’ logistics and propaganda arm, brainwashing generations of Palestinian children with antisemitic hate education while ensuring that any humanitarian aid sent to Gaza ends up in the hands of terrorists.

What Is Ireland Actually Funding?

By sending €20 million to UNRWA, Ireland is not helping the innocent civilians of Gaza—it is actively financing terrorism. Here’s why:

  1. Hamas Steals Aid – Multiple reports confirm that humanitarian aid sent to Gaza is systematically seized by Hamas and resold on the black market. Food, medicine, and supplies meant for civilians are redirected to Hamas fighters and their families, while ordinary Gazans are left to suffer.
  2. UNRWA Employees Are Hamas Operatives – A significant number of UNRWA staff members are directly affiliated with Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, with some participating in attacks against Israelis. Ireland’s funding is paying the salaries of terrorists.
  3. Weaponizing “Humanitarian Aid” – UNRWA facilities have repeatedly been used as Hamas command centers, tunnel entrances, and rocket launch sites. A ceasefire or aid delivery only benefits Hamas, allowing it to rearm and plan its next massacre.
  4. Education for Terrorism – UNRWA-run schools use textbooks filled with antisemitic propaganda, glorify Hamas terrorists as “martyrs,” and encourage Palestinian children to become suicide bombers. Ireland’s funding directly supports this radicalization process.

Israel Delivers More Humanitarian Aid Than Any Other Country

While Ireland is busy virtue-signaling by funding terrorism, Israel has been the leading provider of actual humanitarian aid to Gaza.

  • 66,474 aid trucks have entered Gaza through Israeli crossings since the war began.
  • Millions of liters of water, fuel, and tons of food and medical supplies have been delivered—despite Hamas repeatedly blocking aid distribution.
  • Israel has gone to extraordinary lengths to minimize civilian suffering, even as Hamas fires thousands of rockets at Israeli cities.

Meanwhile, Ireland’s decision to pour millions into UNRWA directly fuels Hamas’ war machine and prolongs the suffering of both Israelis and innocent Palestinians.

Cut Funding to Terrorists

If Ireland genuinely cared about the well-being of Gazan civilians, it would immediately halt its funding to UNRWA and take meaningful steps toward a real humanitarian solution. Instead of bankrolling an organization deeply embedded with Hamas, Ireland should demand accountability, transparency, and action that would actually help civilians rather than empower terrorists.

First and foremost, Ireland should demand the immediate release of over 80 Israeli hostages who remain in Hamas captivity, including women, children, and the elderly. These hostages have endured months of brutal torture, sexual abuse, and psychological torment at the hands of Hamas terrorists, who continue to use them as bargaining chips while the world turns a blind eye.

Second, any real humanitarian solution must include the complete dismantling of Hamas’ terror infrastructure. Hamas deliberately hides weapons in hospitals, schools, and UNRWA facilities, ensuring that every aid delivery prolongs its control over Gaza. The terror group steals food and medical supplies meant for civilians, keeping Gazans in a constant state of suffering to manipulate global sympathy.

Finally, Ireland and other Western nations must push for a full investigation into UNRWA’s direct involvement in terrorism, particularly its role in the October 7th massacre. UNRWA employees have been caught aiding and abetting Hamas terrorists, and its facilities have been used to store weapons, train fighters, and launch attacks on Israeli civilians.

Until these demands are met, Ireland’s €20 million aid package is nothing more than blood money, funding the next Hamas attack and ensuring that both Israelis and innocent Gazans remain trapped in an endless cycle of violence.
