Humanitarian Aid Transfer to Gaza

Over 370 humanitarian aid trucks were transferred to Gaza, including 154 aid trucks that arrived at Kerem Shalom from Egypt on May 27. Additionally, there are over 600 aid trucks awaiting pickup by UN agencies as of the same day.

Fuel and Coordination Requests

One tanker of fuel, designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza, entered the region yesterday (May 27). Out of 52 overall coordination requests, 39 were approved on May 27. Since January 1, 2024, 87% of all coordination requests have been approved.

Aid to Northern Gaza

A total of 57 trucks were coordinated and transferred to northern Gaza on May 27. Furthermore, over 70 trucks containing flour from Ashdod Port, provided by the World Food Program (WFP), entered Gaza on the same day.

Field Hospitals and Medical Treatment

Currently, there are 8 operational field hospitals and 3 mobile clinics in Gaza (as of May 27). Additionally, 3 hospital initiatives are under review. So far, 3,272 sick and injured individuals, along with 725 escorts, have left Gaza for medical treatment abroad.

Upcoming Humanitarian Aid Operation

Today, May 28, between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Al-Katita neighborhood to enable the movement of humanitarian aid.
