Humanitarian Aid Efforts in Gaza (April 10)
On April 10, a total of 298 trucks carrying humanitarian aid were inspected and transferred to the Gaza Strip. Out of these, 61 aid trucks were distributed within Gaza, with 29 of them containing food. Meanwhile, the contents of 600 trucks are still waiting to be picked up by UN aid agencies on the Gazan side of Kerem Shalom.
Air Drops and Additional Aid
In a collaborative effort with Egypt, the UAE, and Jordan, 340 aid packages containing hundreds of thousands of meals were airdropped over Gaza on the same day. Additionally, 17 trucks carrying food aid from the private sector were coordinated to northern Gaza, including 11 trucks coordinated through crossing 96 by the World Food Programme (WFP).
Gas Supply and Foreign Nationals
Four tankers of cooking gas designated for essential infrastructure operations in Gaza also entered the Gaza Strip on April 10. In terms of foreign nationals, 76 individuals were scheduled to exit the Gaza Strip on the same day, with 85 more scheduled to exit today.
Local Food Production Efforts
Currently, 21 bakeries are operational in Gaza, providing over 2 million breads, rolls, and pita breads daily for the local population.
Upcoming Humanitarian Pause
Looking ahead to today, April 11, between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Tel Al-Saltan neighborhood of Rafah to enable the movement of humanitarian aid.
