Humanitarian Aid Update: February 1
On February 1, a total of 236 humanitarian aid trucks were inspected and transferred to the Gaza Strip. The breakdown is as follows:
- 80 trucks were inspected at the Nitzana crossing and transferred to Gaza via the Rafah crossing.
- 156 trucks were inspected and transferred via Kerem Shalom.
- A total of 189 trucks carried food.
Fuel Supply and Expectations
Additionally, 4 tankers of cooking gas and 2 tankers of fuel designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza entered the Gaza Strip yesterday. Food trucks were transferred to Gaza after inspection via the Jordan delivery channel, with more aid expected today.
Foreign Nationals and Medical Support
A total of 75 foreign nationals were coordinated for exit yesterday, with 42 foreign nationals coordinated for exit today. Furthermore, medical teams have entered the Gaza Strip to enhance the medical response in the region.
Bakeries Operational and Infrastructure Coordination
Currently, 12 bakeries are operational, providing 2 million pita breads daily. Additional bakeries are in the planning process. The coordination of the repair of vital infrastructure has also been successfully completed.
Humanitarian Aid Movement Tomorrow
Looking ahead to today, February 2, between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Al-Salaam neighborhood in Rafah, southern Gaza, to facilitate the movement of humanitarian aid.
