Aid Trucks Entry
302 trucks carrying humanitarian goods were transferred to Gaza yesterday, with 257 entering through the Kerem Shalom Crossing and 45 via the Erez Crossing.
Aid Collection
164 aid trucks were collected by UN aid agencies and the private sector. Specifically, 67 trucks were collected from the Erez crossing, and 97 trucks were collected from Kerem Shalom (July 3). Additionally, the contents of over 1,200 aid trucks are currently waiting to be collected from the Gazan side of Kerem Shalom. Furthermore, the contents of 3,864 pallets are also awaiting pickup from the JLOTS port on the Gazan side.
Fuel Supply
On July 3, 6 gas tankers and 2 fuel tankers, designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza, entered the region.
Aid to Northern Gaza
A total of 45 aid trucks and 1 fuel truck were coordinated to northern Gaza on July 3.
Jordanian Route Support
8 UNICEF aid trucks and 16 WFP food trucks were coordinated for delivery via the Jordanian route (July 3).
Route 96 Coordination
16 aid trucks and 2 fuel tankers were also coordinated via Route 96 yesterday.
Humanitarian Team Rotation
On the same day, 20 humanitarian aid team members entered Gaza, while 38 members exited.
UN Assistance
On July 3, eleven new trucks arrived in Gaza to enhance the humanitarian logistics fleet that is vital for aid distribution. These trucks, purchased by UN aid agencies and facilitated by Israel, aim to bolster UN logistics in the Gaza Strip, improving both the collection and distribution of essential aid.
Coordinations Summary
A total of 15 UN coordinations for humanitarian missions were requested, with 14 (93%) being approved on July 3.
Local Tactical Pause
Today, July 4, between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Qwizan Abu Rashwan neighborhood in Khan Younis to facilitate the movement of humanitarian aid.
