Aid Trucks Entry and Operations Update
Aid Trucks Transfer to Gaza
Yesterday, 274 trucks carrying humanitarian goods were transferred to Gaza. Trucks arrived from Israel and the Ashdod port, Egypt, and Jordan, and entered via the Kerem Shalom (225 trucks) and the Erez (49 trucks) crossings.
Current Aid Collection Status
77 aid trucks were collected from the Erez crossing, and 235 trucks were collected from the Kerem Shalom Crossing. Currently, there are about 600 trucks waiting to be collected from the Gazan side of the Kerem Shalom crossing.
Fuel Delivery Update
6 tankers of cooking gas designated for the operation of essential infrastructure were transferred (August 5).
Jordanian Route Aid Coordination
16 WFP aid trucks were coordinated via the Jordanian Route yesterday.
Northern Gaza Aid Delivery
49 aid trucks and 3 fuel tankers were coordinated to northern Gaza yesterday.
Bakeries’ Operational Capacity
13 bakeries are operational, with 6 in northern Gaza and 7 in central Gaza, producing close to 3 million pita loaves a day.
Aid Facts and Statistics
Over 850,000 tons of aid have entered Gaza since the start of the war, with close to 80% of it being food.
Local Tactical Pause for Humanitarian Aid
Today, (August 6) between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Al-Nasr neighborhood in Deir al-Balah to enable the movement of humanitarian aid.
