Humanitarian Aid Distribution in Gaza

Trucks carrying humanitarian aid were inspected and transferred to Gaza for the civilian population yesterday (Mar. 6). A total of 243 trucks were distributed by aid organizations to shelters and Gazans in need.

Overnight Aid Delivery

Overnight, 11 food trucks made their way to northern Gaza. In the last 24 hours, 26 trucks traveled north, all from the private sector. Over the last few days, more than 100 trucks were transferred to the northern Gaza Strip.

Fuel and Gas Supplies

Yesterday (Mar. 6), 4 tankers of cooking gas and 3 tankers of fuel, designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza, have entered the Gaza Strip.

Convoys and Airdrops

Truck convoys via the Jordan delivery are set to enter Gaza today. UNICEF began using this route, as well as WFP, over the last few days. Additionally, 24 packages were airdropped by Egypt and UAE yesterday (Mar. 6). Since the start of the war, in cooperation with the USA, UAE, Egypt, Jordan, and France, a total of 25 airdrops have taken place, delivering over 750 packages of humanitarian aid, mostly to northern Gaza.

Foreign Nationals Exiting Gaza

55 foreign nationals are expected to exit the Gaza Strip today (Mar. 7), while 17 foreign nationals exited yesterday.

Healthcare Support

A United Arab Emirates floating hospital docked at the El-Arish port on Feb. 22 and began receiving Gazan patients for treatment.

Bakeries in Operation

Currently, 20 bakeries are operational in Gaza, providing over 2.5 million breads, rolls, and pita breads daily for the local population. Over the last two weeks, the number of operational bakeries has increased from 10, to 12, to 15, and now to 20, following COGAT’s facilitation.

Infrastructure Repairs

The coordination of the repair of vital infrastructure was successfully completed. Today (Mar. 5), between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Sheikh Al-Yamini-west neighborhood in Deir Al Balah, central Gaza Strip, to enable the movement of humanitarian aid.
