Aid Trucks Entry

Yesterday, 271 trucks carrying humanitarian goods were transferred to Gaza via the Kerem Shalom (223 trucks) and Erez (48 trucks) crossings.

Aid Collection

155 trucks were collected from the Gazan side of Kerem Shalom. 124 trucks were collected by the private sector, and 31 trucks were collected by the UN aid agencies. About 640 trucks worth are waiting for collection (August 7).

Fuel Transfer

8 tankers of fuel and 6 tankers of cooking gas designated for the operation of essential infrastructure were transferred (August 7).

Jordanian Route Coordination

4 IMC aid trucks (1 containing medical equipment and 3 hygiene kits), 16 WFP food trucks, and 12 UNICEF trucks containing hygiene kits were coordinated via the Jordanian route yesterday.

Support for Northern Gaza

48 aid trucks, as well as 2 fuel tankers, were coordinated to northern Gaza yesterday.

Bakeries in Operation

13 bakeries are operational (7 in northern Gaza and 6 in central Gaza), producing close to 3 million pita loaves a day.

Medical Aid Transfer

7 ambulances were inspected and transferred to Gaza yesterday.

Humanitarian Aid Personnel Rotation

Yesterday, a rotation coordination of humanitarian personnel was successfully completed.

Aid Partnerships Meeting

An extended Joint Coordination Board (JCB) meeting took place on Aug 6 at the Gaza CLA. The UN humanitarian coordinator participated, as well as representatives from international organizations. Key discussions focused on facilitating humanitarian aid through direct coordination, addressing challenges such as looting, and proposing solutions. Participants expressed appreciation for the coordination efforts and acknowledged the IDF’s commitment to facilitating humanitarian operations while ensuring Israel’s security.

Local Tactical Pause

Today, (August 8) between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Al-Tzachabah neighborhood in Deir Al Balah to enable the movement of humanitarian aid.
