Rockets Fired at Kerem Shalom Crossings

Yesterday (May 8), for the third time this week, Hamas maliciously fired rockets at the Kerem Shalom crossings.

Coordination Updates (May 8)

  • Out of 37 general coordination requests, 19 were approved.
  • Out of 12 coordination requests for northern Gaza, 8 were approved.
  • Out of 9 UN coordination requests, 5 were approved.

Since January 1, 2024, 88% of all coordination requests have been approved.

Ashdod Port Coordination

On May 9, 9 trucks were coordinated via the Ashdod port through the Erez Crossing.

Humanitarian Efforts in Gaza

Currently, 26 bakeries are operational in Gaza, providing close to 5 million breads, rolls, and pita breads daily. So far, 3,204 injured and sick individuals and 725 escorts have been evacuated from the strip.

Water Supply Update

The northern water pipeline from Israel is now fully operational, providing an average of 50 liters per person per day.

Humanitarian Aid Movement

Today (May 9), between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Al Bashiti neighborhood in Khan Yunis to enable the movement of humanitarian aid.
