Recent Aid Operations in Gaza

Aid Truck Inspections and Transfers

On April 24, 352 aid trucks were inspected and transferred to the Gaza Strip. Out of these, 92 trucks were distributed within Gaza, with 50 of them containing food supplies. Currently, the contents of 250 aid trucks await collection on the Gazan side of Kerem Shalom by UN aid agencies.

Airdrops in Northern Gaza

On April 24, airdrops were conducted, delivering 104 pallets that contained tens of thousands of food aid packages over northern Gaza.

Aid Deliveries to Northern Gaza

Additionally, 7 WFP trucks were coordinated through the fence road on the same day. Furthermore, 4 tankers of cooking gas and 2 tankers of fuel designated for the operation of essential infrastructure in Gaza also entered on April 24.

Jordanian Route Aid Coordination

Sixteen trucks were coordinated via the Jordanian Route on April 24, along with 12 trucks of flour coordinated through the Ashdod port program.

Coordination Requests and Approvals

On April 24, out of 35 general coordination requests, 28 (80%) were approved. In addition, 7 UN requests for coordination were submitted, with 5 being approved. There were also 8 requests for coordination to northern Gaza, of which 6 (75%) were approved. Since January 1, 2024, 87% of all coordination requests have been approved.

Bakeries and Food Production in Gaza

Currently, 26 operational bakeries in Gaza are providing close to 5 million breads, rolls, and pita breads daily. On April 24, 4 WFP refrigerator trucks were also coordinated.

Evacuations from Gaza

So far, 3,204 injured and sick individuals, along with 725 escorts, have been evacuated from the strip. Additionally, 27 foreign nationals were scheduled to leave Gaza on April 24.

Repair of Vital Infrastructure

The repair of vital infrastructure is currently underway. On April 25, between 10:00 and 14:00, the IDF will pause operations in the Al Salah neighborhood in Rafah to enable the movement of humanitarian aid.
