The late Ariel Ohana was an IDF soldier and a fighter in the 890th Battalion of the Paratroopers Brigade.
He fell in battle on October 8 during a war, while rescuing the residents of Kibbutz Bari.
During the battle, Ariel was at the forefront, fighting for 30 hours, rescuing many civilians and eliminating terrorists.
Ariel was born in Kibbutz Revadim and was educated at Tsafet School. He was a very talented, smiling and funny boy, who played basketball from the 4th to the 12th grade, and was the captain of the teams he played in. In his memory, the youth basketball team of Hapoel Yoav Tzfit is now named after him – Hapoel Yoav Tzfit Ariel.
