Omer Moshe Gealdor, 30, from Jerusalem, served as a reservist in Unit 5111 of the Golani Brigade.
On the morning of November 19th, Omer was killed in action when a Hezbollah explosive UAV struck an IDF force from Battalion 53 operating in southern Lebanon. The attack occurred approximately two kilometers from the border, as the soldiers worked to secure the area for the rest of the brigade positioned deeper within the region.
In recent years, Omer overcame a severe illness with remarkable strength and determination. Following his recovery, he returned to active reserve duty, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to his country and his comrades.
