In the battle in which Capt. (Res.) Gabriel Shani and Major (Res.) Yuval Nir fell, two reserve soldiers from Patrol Battalion 6646, Northern Fox Formation (646), were seriously wounded.
Also, a soldier in the Paratroopers Brigade was seriously injured in a battle in the center of the Gaza Strip.
Additionally, a soldier and tank commander from Shaked Battalion, Givati Brigade, were seriously injured in a battle in the northern Gaza Strip.
The wounded soldiers were evacuated for medical treatment at the hospital, their families have been updated.
